for too long now i've been carrying old thoughts around in this head
and not deposited them in the right way
i spend most of my days in the beauty world
and to be perfectly honest, blogging about it too is beginning to get to me
i love it, i enjoy it, it's a privilege to have such fun at work,
but the truth is, i write all i want to write at the day job
and of an eve, or early morn, i'd rather witter on about other things
that matter to me in very different ways
that simply tickle me
make me smile
catch my eye
so i sat down and thought about what i'd really like to read
i'm not trying to fill a niche (there are blogs about everything!)
simply attempting to be true to what i find interesting
and if i were to read a blog on a regular basis (i'm fickle, what can i tell ya?)
i'd be most likely to dip into one that changed as often as i do.
to this end, the new 'we make up' brings together some completely disparate passions
eating. reading. sleeping. walking. discovering.
when it comes to me, it'll come to you
and so, to my first departure... a stroll away from the vera wang launch (where i fell for the prettiest peonies) at london's latest hot hotel venture, the corinthia, reminded me of the pretty little garden where i used to take my pret lunches during my late teens
ping-pong tables, benches a-plenty, trees as pretty as i've ever seen...
if you get trapped between charing cross and embankment, make a pitstop
...it's just beautiful...
Good luck with the new direction - it's always good to change things up a bit now and then and there's something very cathartic about a fresh start. Looking forward to reading more!

I really like the first picture! I've never been there myself but if I ever find myself in the area I'll be sure to make a quick stop. xxx
